团组分别赴澳大利亚、美国、英国、新加坡、香港等国家和地区，来自全国同学和带队老师一起暑期赴境外学习，我们特此汇总为什么去海外学习的理由，大家根据这些，充实学习，愉悦海外生活。
1. 你有机会学习一门新的语言
这是第一个也是最明显的优势。当你学习一门新的语言时，你会学习到一个全新的、不同的世界，那里的人们用不同的眼光和描述事物。这样，你就会变得更聪明，更有见识。会说两种或两种以上的语言，你也会让自己在求职时更有市场。
You Have the Opportunity to Learn a New Language
This is the first and most obvious advantage. When you learn a new language, you learn a whole new, different world of people who see and describe things differently. And by that, you become wiser and more knowledgeable. By speaking two or more languages, you also make yourself more marketable when job hunting.
2. 你能比大多数人看到更多的世界
没有多少人能说他们在多个国家见过和生活过，直到他们能够赚到足够的钱去真正旅行。而你，会的!你会看到不同的观点和不同的人，看世界是最好的扩展人们的视野。
You Are Able to See More of the World Than Most People
Not many people can say they have seen and lived in multiple countries until they are able to earn enough money to actually travel. You, on the other hand, will! You will have seen different views and different people and seeing the world is what expands people’s horizons the best.

试着买一盒牛奶，却不知道商店在哪里，也不能向任何人问路，因为你的语言技能还没有得到很好的发展。或者试着在入学第一天去找招生办公室。作为交换生，每天都要克服新的挑战。这肯定会让你更强大。
You Can Overcome Challenges
Try to buy a carton of milk not knowing where the store is and not being able to ask anyone the directions because your language skills are not well developed yet. Or try to go and find the admission office on your first day. Being an exchange student means overcoming new challenges every day. That for sure makes you stronger.
4. 你会提高你写作的创造力
如果你的语言不是很好，你需要非常有创造力来写不同的文章或其他写作作业。在大学里处理这些问题的大量经验会激发你的创造力，甚至会使你的书面语言比母语者的语言更有趣。
You Will Boost Your Creative Writing
If you don’t know the language very well, you need to be very creative to write different essays or other writing assignments. Numerous experiences of dealing with such tasks in college will actually boost your creativity and maybe even make your written language more interesting than the language of a native speaker.

This is an advantage for your future career and your life in general. The ability to quickly adapt to change is a very valuable quality. Employers tend to appreciate this quality in potential workers and may choose them over other candidates.

You'll Become Tougher
Going to another country where you have no friends and family makes you tougher. Of course, you will make friends there, but this drastic change of lifestyle toughens you up in a good way. When you have help from your parents, you feel safe and relaxed. When you are in a different country and don’t know anyone well, you learn to take care of yourself and solve problems.
7. 你可以得到更好的教育

You May Get a Better Education
Students typically go to countries where the educational system is better than in their own country; that is logical. So, if exchange students come back after graduation or go to another country to seek for a job, they have a huge advantage of having a prestigious diploma. Many students, however, decide to stay and fight for a good job in a competitive and prestigious job market.
8. 你获得了第二个家庭
许多交换学生在学习期间住在当地家庭。自然，他们中的许多人会在另一个国家建立家庭。有两个随时准备帮助你的家庭是一件很棒的事情。如果学生选择住在校园里，他们也可以有第二个家庭，即他们的朋友和室友。
You Gain a Second Family
Many exchange students stay with a local family for the duration of their studies. Naturally, many of them get attached and acquire another family in a different country. Having two families that are ready to help you at any moment is a great thing. If students choose to live on campus, they can also get a second family in their friends and roommates.
9. 你会更自律
你要自己做饭，洗衣服等等。没有爸爸妈妈为你做这件事。交换学生很快就学会了一些将伴随他们一生的纪律。
You Become More Disciplined
You will be responsible for cooking your own meals, doing laundry, etc. There will be no mom or dad to do it for you. Exchange students quickly learn some discipline that stays with them for the rest of their lives.

You're Able to Meet Students From All Over the World
Exchange programs are available for students from different countries of the world, so you will likely meet people from everywhere. Often, exchange students become good friends as they are all new to the area. This friendship may last for many years.

You Become More Confident and Independent
Knowing that you have coped with so many things and have overcome so many challenges can only make you more sure of your own powers. You will know that you are able to fight and win. You will gain a newfound respect for yourself and other people will respect you, too.

Exchange programs open many doors for young people. They have the opportunity to see the world, learn many new things, make lifetime friends, and explore new cultures. This is the experience that you will remember with a smile for the rest of your life. Apart from good memories, it gives you a lot of leverage when starting a new career.
